Surfing in Santa Teresa Beach, Costa Rica

If you want to imagine what California surf towns looked like 100 years ago, come surf at Santa Teresa Beach, Costa Rica.  This great little town is hard to get to but worth the trip!  It's about a 5 hour drive from the Liberia airport or an 8 hour journey with a ferry (Naviera Tambor)  from San Jose.


Break Type:  Beach

Gear: Trunks and rash guard.

Ambience:  Long sandy beach.  Do NOT leave any valuables on the beach or they will not be there when you get out of the water.
