Surfing in Newport Beach, California, USA

This beach is a great alternative to Huntington if you want to get away from the crowds and tourists.  The beach stretches for miles here and there is a great bike trail that connects all the way up to Huntington Beach and beyond.

Alternative Surf Spots

If you have a death wish, you could go try bodysurfing at the wedge.  But, I'd recommend just going there to watch the teenagers get slammed into the beach at this fabled beach break.
